4:31am Today
Today the air is getting colder
with the darkness of winter coming
the land begins to sleep
and the wisdom of nature
urges me older
...and I had already knew
that when the rains came
you would have to leave
and the moments between us
would be but too few
and when you turned to go
i could not stop thinking
of all of these things
left undiscovered
that i had to know
but now you are gone
and there is no way to go back
so i now sit here by the sea
in solitude and memory
forever withdrawn
