Eatin' for it (Today's Menu!)
So I started this thread with very few groceries in the house, and when I'm hardly able to walk with belly pain, but here we go..... Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008 yerba mate with almond milk spelt date square sprouted grain tortilla with pinto beans, grated carrot, spinach, orange pepper, sauerkraut and soy mayo oatmeal with black mission figs, raw cacao nibs, hemp seeds, bananas and flax meal.. and almond milk homemade peppermint chai soy dog on sprouted grain bread rice cakes with tahini and carob molasses So many (complex) carbs. I totally needed them today.

Lucifuge if you ate all that for today you almost took 4000.00 calories :grin: Haha. Maybe not quite. If so, I'd've gained a pound, as it takes 3500 calories to equal a pound.

Monday, March 3, 2008 This is the first day of a 25-day cleanse!! yerba mate, floressence tea* smoothie with almond milk, hemp oil, hemp protein, acai, banana, coconut carrots with hummus (with hemp oil and chia seeds) and rice cakes energy bar yerba mate floressence tea salt n' vinegar potato wheels (so good.. oops!) miso soup with soy pasta, spinach, nori, hemp seeds, sprouted cinnamon raisin granola *Floressence is a cleansing tea. I'm doing it both for work and for my health.

So today, March 4, 2008 yerba mate, floressence sprouted grain toast with tahini and banana yerba mate peppermint tea carrots, hummus, rice cakes with chia and hemp oil floressence, gerrolsteiner water with lime steamed carrots, broccoli, green pepper, tofu with kamut linguine and hemp/miso dressing sprouted granola + trail mix of pumpkin seeds, coconut, figs, raisins, cacao + peppermint tea floressence

Friday, March 7, 2008 yerba mate, floressence more hummus and carrots with ricecakes 1 flatbread with tahini and carob molasses (I've been sorta lazy, between paycheques and didn't get groceries, but I did make the hummus with a handmixer!) yerba mate ezekiel toast with tahini and banana miso soup veg sushi: shitake and cucumber nigiri, avocado maki, one yam avo tempura roll with ginger and wasabi! (This was, incidentally, some of the best sushi, a place called Sushi Shige here in Halifax) peppermint tea date square with almond milk (sweetened slightly with maple syrup and made locally, these are lovely)

(This was, incidentally, some of the best sushi, a place called Sushi Shige here in Halifax) peppermint tea Ditto on #1 x2 or 3, haha One of your sushis.... Plus 17 of mine, mixed assorted avocado, yam, and the other one was 3 mixed, 6 apiece, with ginger and wasabi A coke Peppermint tea Coffees Some of Friday there... Today.. Fried chick pea roll Fried pekora Fried paratha Poutine and I gotta double toasted donair sub with cheese awaiting, hehehe.... Been eating a lot of different things from different international cuisines, lately. Had my first Irish Stew in a dog's age the other night, though, too! Owned! That covers the la-*test*-('") fragment of my diet... :badger:

Monday, March 10, 2008 I woke up right as I was supposed to be leaving for work today, so i didn't have a chance to make lunch or anything. Frakk! yerba mate, floressence smoothie featuring almond milk, blueberries, banana, hemp oil, hemp protein tiny lemon energy bar yerba mate spelt bread with tahini hummus and black bean dip (with hemp oil and chia seeds) with spelt bread and rice cakes ezekiel bread and ezekiel cereal with carob molasses and chia, and almond milk, respectively holy basil tea, floressence Holy carbfest! At least they were complex.

Tuesday, March 11, 2008 Again, woke up late and had to run to work without properly preparing.. yerba mate, floressence lemon poppyseed sprouted grain bar spelt bread with tahini and flax yerba mate spelt bread sandwich with cucumber, avocado, red pepper, lettuce peppermint tea kamut pizza with a TON of zucchini, onion, mushroom, spinach, yellow pepper, shitake-garlic tofu and garlic/olive oil/herb sauce peppermint tea, floressece 2 dates with almond butter
