Ok, I am not such a fan of summer olympics either, but I know a forming mystery when I see one. This capture of the top land speed records by human bodies from an island nation is curious.One might expect swimming medals from people living surrounded by water, but land???There are many stereotypes that have been formed about Jamaica, and there was even a movie not so long ago about a Jamaican Bobsled team. Well I've spent some time in Jamaica and must admit that the people there do tend towards a more or less "laid back" attitude. Some say such things as; "the evil of this day is sufficient unto itself" and; "there are so many tomorrows to do a thing" or "Don't worry be happy".So where is the motive for speed in such a people?
Another unassociated event should be mentioned, that as these medals for speed on land were made in China, warnings for the speed of the wind were broadcast as tropical storm Kay threatened the native land of Jamaica.Sometimes these tidbits of ironic information seem to compound associated knowledge with an event, and all adds to potential mystery, mystique, and ponderings of the unknown and curious.
Jamaicans were very relaxed when a hurricane threatened while I visited about 20 years ago. "Yah Mon, Don Worry, the rain is from heaven" Actually Jamaica is usually spared damage or death from these monster storms, amazing! Kay has passed Jamaica but took a number of lives from Haiti and the Dominican Republic. These nations are only separated by a relative small number of nautical miles, but being laid back seems to work for Jamaicans time after time.Perhaps their runners have learned how to rest while running at top speed eh?
Think;

"Three Little Birds"
Well anyhow just thought I'd bring up some of the mysteries that are forming around this Jamaican takeover of high speed humans.Anyone have a clue what could make them so fast all of a sudden? I will add some links to related news, but first will add a forum link from within Jamaica so people can see what those in Jamaica are really talking about. Jamaicans rarely get political exposure so this is their chance;
