Former members of My Name Is Satan, Jobbykrust, Pink Turds in Space and Bleeding Rectum from North Ireland got together and morphed The Dagda around 1999/2000. Furious scandi crust and a feeling ala His Hero is Gone in the atmosphere but no copying ,heavy sound, aggressive riffs, fast rhythms, bashing drumming, screaming vocals, poetic pagan lyrics, great musicians and nice people. The band released Blind Kings in 2000 on Funai Records. They also released a split 7" with Scatha from Scotland in 2002 and two great 12"s :Threefold (2002) and Endless Betrayal (2005), finally the band broke up after the recording of Endless Betrayal
